We have been getting to try a lot of really good products and want to show our appreciation to those who send us products that are really fantastic.

This award is offered only to those Barbecue and Chile products that we feel are of the highest quality. Product that have been given the Chilefire Desert Chile Award have been appraised for: Appearance, Aroma, Spice Blend, Originality, Flavor (most important!), Overall Impression and "Cookablity" (how well the product faired being experimented with in the Chilefire kitchen!).

We are going to try to give the award once a month - when we find a product that really hits the spot!
